Set amongst grape vines and olive orchids it is relaxing retreat from the everyday life. Located only 40km from Adelaide CBD and a 15 minute drive from McLaren vales thriving wine region. A perfect get away for a family, 2 couples or a romantic get away.
Farm life
Feed the Alpacas, interact with chickens and ducks, collect eggs and enjoy seasonal vegetables from our veggie patch.
Bring your bikes and ride around the property or there is plenty of room for a game of cricket or to kick to footy.
Enjoy a night outside by the fire pit with marshmallows and star gazing. (not permitted in fire ban). Or enjoy the sunset over the ocean from the deck.
Aldinga Washpool lagoon
The Aldinga Washpool Lagoon is a rare ephemeral freshwater wetland. For a relatively small conservation area, it has an astonishing number of resident and visiting bird species, including some from as far away as Japan and China.
THE WASHPOOL – WAKUNTHILLA / POSSUM PLACE Prior to European settlement, Aldinga Washpool was an important place for curing and drying possum skins. It is a significant place for ceremony, including exchanges with people from beyond Kaurna lands.
